MN2 Productions is an independent production company which creates new
works based on Ukrainian themes and sponsors performances by Ukrainian
artists. Its mission is to share the best Ukrainian culture has to offer with as
wide an audience as possible.
Since its inception, MN2 Productions has produced three new works:
Ancestral Voices, Shadows of Our Forgotten Ancestors and Forest Song, and
received Artist's Project Grants from the Ohio Arts Council to financially
support its last two productions. It has sponsored the performances of
Ukrainian artists such as Marjana Sadowska and Ukrainian-based organizations
in the U.S. such as the Slava Modern Dance Company.
In an article about MN2 Productions, Wilma Salisbury, former dance critic for
The Plain Dealer, wrote, 'If every ethnic community in Northeast Ohio
fostered an organization as inventive as MN2 Productions, the local arts scene
would be immeasurably enriched.'
